OUR STORY

Experienced and trusted, we have been running classes all over Hong Kong since 2012.

We have been coaching in some of Hong Kong’s best known clubs, schools and residential clubhouses for over 10 years.

With our “Kinder Sports” programmes we deliver sports classes to children under 5 years old.

With our “Asia Pacific Sports” programmes we deliver soccer and basketball classes to players over 5 years old.

We have over 60 coaching staff. Around half are full-time coaches, while the other half are part-time / assistant or junior coaches. Our junior coaches are often teenage players interested in coaching who have come through our youth teams who provide coaching assistance at weekend classes.

We like to offer a path into coaching to any keen teenage player and take placement students from Hong Kong schools and universities every year.

Our mission is simple: to help develop a love of sport in young players.

We also have a business office open 6 full days a week, located in Mong Kok, able to handle any administrative/financial issues.

CHILD SAFETY

All coaches over 18 years old have a valid HK Police Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) certificate. This is a normal requirement at most venues such as schools and clubs.

Our staff also complete child protection training. We have used both the children’s NGO “Viva” and the online training platform “K safeguarding” for safeguarding courses. Most recently worked with the children’s NGO “Save the Children” to run an internal staff safeguarding course.

We ensure that in all our sessions there is someone with current first aid qualification – usually from First Aid Plus (https://www.firstaidplus.com.hk) who run our regular staff first aid training.

We support a living wage.

Every member of our staff, full-time and part-time, receives above Oxfam Hong Kong’s specified living wage. We are proud to be one of the initial supporters of the living wage initiative in Hong Kong, and were there at its launch in 2023!
